Grass at the the U.S.-Mexico Border

What Kind Of Grass?

Vegetable farmers and sheep herders used to work right along the U.S.-Mexico boundary line. For decades the border consisted of a three wire fence. Then a chain link fence separated the two countries.

Since 2008, construction of the double wall caused catastrophic ecological damage.

The only plant that can grow in this area now is sod:
